J.M. Rodgers Visits the New Jersey Fireman’s Home

On May 22nd members of J.M. Rodgers Co., spent an afternoon of volunteering at the beautiful ‘New Jersey Fireman Home’ in Boonton New Jersey The New Jersey Firemen’s Home – established in 1898 – is the only licensed health care facility in the State of New Jersey whose primary mission is dedicated to the men and women of the New Jersey Fire Service. Located on the historic Lathrop Estates in Boonton, NJ – the Firemen’s Home provides both long term care and residential health care services to 62 retired firefighters.
We enjoy coming and visiting with the residents at the Fireman’s Home, it is our way of saying thank you to these great citizens, Giving back is part of our company’s mission and I want to also thank my fellow J.M. RODGERS colleagues, Sean Dunne, Arch Galloway, and Drew Andrew Galloway for dedicating their time with me today, said Jamie Rodgers, CEO of J.M. Rodgers, Co. Inc.
The Firemen’s Home is set on beautiful grounds and also home to an 8,000 sq. ft., two-story museum, which opened in May 1985. Steamers, ornate hose carts, and fire trucks are among the many items on display for all to see.The New Jersey Firemen’s Home Museum is opened daily 8AM to 4PM and admission is free!
